The History of Merley House Events
2008
Merley House Events was founded.
2009
We were granted Approved Premises status for civil ceremonies and hosted our first wedding.
2010
Our new, permanent bar was installed in The Morning Room.
2012
We launched our website.
2018
Rendering works were completed on the rear of the house.
2019
The beautiful new formal garden and fountain were installed at the front of the house.
2020
We introduced a new “Recommended Suppliers” page to our website and brochure, showcasing the fantastic suppliers we work with.
2021
Our Events Manager, Nicki, joined the team.
2023
We entered TWIA for the first time!
We introduced our “Additional Extras”, including: LED love letters, sweet cart and Chiavari chairs.
2024
We also introduced outdoor ceremonies in our formal garden.
2025
We launched several new wedding packages offering our couples greater choice.
2026
Tasha and Cindy joined our Events Management Team.
